LinkedIn is updating their very popular blogging feature (go to your LinkedIn homepage and click on 'write an article' to view). Currently the improvements are just available in the States - they will soon be launched worldwide.
If you are not using the blogging/publishing feature, I highly recommend that you start. It offers you an excellent way to raise your professional profile on LinkedIn as well as on Google and other search engines. LinkedIn blogs are highly ranked by search engines so a prospect searching for useful content on your particular field of expertise may find your blog in an organic search and get in touch.
